Sara Williams

has litigated a variety of cases across the State of Alabama, including premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, wrongful death and trucking cases. Prior to joining the Alexander Shunnarah firm, she spent the first seven years of her career as an insurance defense lawyer. Williams is also the Visiting Director of Advocacy at the Samford University's Cumberland School of Law where she serves as a coach for Cumberland School of Law’s nationally ranked mock trial teams and teaches as an adjunct in the Basic Skills in Trial Advocacy, Advanced Skills in Trial Advocacy (Civil) and Deposition Skills and Technology courses. Throughout her career, Williams has been recognized not only as the 2016 Volunteer of the Year for the Cumberland School of Law, but also Top 40 under 40 in the Birmingham Business Journal, AAJ Women Trial Lawyer's Caucus Marie Lambert Award in 2022 and Top 25 in the National Women Lawyers Association.

Williams will take the stage at OAJ's Annual Convention on Thursday, May 2.
